Q: Help Removing Unwanted Cell Highlight Pages for iCloud

There is an unwanted cell border highlight in my table on pages in cloud and I can not figure out how to remove it.

I have found out that when I change my comment color, the border color changes as well, however the border doesn't have a "Triangle" to delete the "comment".

Here is what I've attempted so far:

When I delete cell contents, the cell border is still there.

Delete row, highlighted box moves down to the next row.

Add comment and delete it, border still there.

Remove Table border and add a new black one, colored border still there.

I can not figure out how to delete this for the life of me, and It just showed up and I can't get it off.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've attached a photo of my document and the orange "Un-Removable" Cell border.Screen Shot 2016-08-24 at 10.43.09 AM.png

    Hello Micky,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with formatting a Pages document is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to change the border color of a cell that is in a table in a Pages for iCloud document. The good news is you can narrow down and resolve this issue with these steps:

    1. First, try creating a new Pages for iCloud document and see if you can replicate the issue. Here is more about the border options in Pages for iCloud:

Change a chart’s appearance - Pages for iCloud Help

    2. Try copy and pasting the info in this Pages document to a new document and see if the issue persists. You could also share this document with someone and see if the issue is replicated when opened.

    Cheers!
