iPod

Q: The keyboard stopped working. There is no flashing curser.

After changing the batteries on the iMac mouse, the arrow moves around but there is no keyboard use.....flashing curser. We can look, but not type.  I'm using an iPad to write this, 

iMac, iOS 9.3.4

    I hate to see unanswered questions but I'm afraid I can't follow this one.   Your imac should have it's own keyboard and be unrelated to the mouse except for positioning of your typing.

     

    What do you mean by flashing cursor.   The green light on the mouse to say that there are batteries installed.   Is that what's flashing?
