Q: Apple Mail - Signatures- how to single space lines

Hello,

When creating a signature in Apple Mail, I find it often  (but not always) double spaces the lines, like this:

Ann Piece  | 999.999.9999

1. ann.piece@icloud.com

1. How would I correct this?
