Q: Air Drop not working

It hasn't worked on any of ios 9 software so far, will 9.3.4. fix it? didn't see anything in it's notes? Air drop hasn't worked since buying phone. Don't really want to update at mo unless have to as trying to avoid next ios 10 and my phone working ell otherwise.

This does not work, it as usual, I accept pair code then i get nothing connected

I apologise, I didn't mention that I updated to new ios, but still end with searcjing whell on iphone on no connection on mac!

They are both on same network, have tried forgetting network and re-adding. So like before I get a pairing number accept and device never found. Must be a simple solution to this.

Thanks Eric, I have tried all those suggestions, but still end up with same problem. phone/mac both say network unable to connect. On mac bluetooth preferences it displays phone but can't connect, nothing shown in air drop via finder. Phone displays macbook but can't connect. Well after trying all that my phone can't locate my mac either now... so frustrating.
