ITunes does not recognise my iPhone. Both iTunes and my IPhone 6 have the most up to date downloads. It's not even an error message, it just doesn't show up at all. Does anybody know how I could solve this problem as it's a pain in the ***.

It would help to know what versions of iTunes & Windows you are using. You may be using the most "up-to-date" versions of iTunes for your version of Windows, but that still may not be enough for your iPhone and/or iOS version. It may be possible there is a compatibility problem if one or more of them are old. Without knowing that info (assuming that is not the problem), I can only offer the following:
