Q: Mail App Using Up WAY Too Much Storage on iPad Mini
Hello, everyone. I recently went into the settings app to check how much storage I had available, and saw that the number of bytes left has dropped significantly sinced I last had checked a few hours ago. Wondering what happening, I tapped the manage storage tab and noticed that the mail app is using up 1.1 GB in "Mail and Attachments", which was way more than it was using up only a few hours ago. I was very concerned and confused, so I decided to remove my email account from the mail app and power it down, thinking it would go away. Nope. I turn it back on and it's the same thing, even though there was absolutely no data in the app. So I give an hour or two, hoping that it's just a small fluke, but even after that, it's still using up all of that space. I've tried everything I could think of, and none of that worked. Does anyone know what to do? I like to make videos on my iPad, which usually requires a good amount of bytes, so I'd really appreciate an answer. Thank you.
By the way, I had recently updated to iOS 9.3.4, and had also hooked my iPad up to my labtop a few days ago to run a data scan with "iPhone Data Recovery" and "EaseUs iPad Recovery" just to check if by any chance I could recover a few photos I regret deleting (only photos still on my device showed up, but that's not the point ). Just thought you'd ought to know.
