iPhone and itunes
my iPhone 6s icon does not show in iTunes however, my iPad does.

The problem is when it is not connected to the computer by usb but either plugged into an outlet or not.

Check that you have enabled syncing with iTunes using Wi-Fi for your iPhone 6s.
