Mac App Store
Q: Can't download FaceTime
I have been trying to FaceTime for the very first time on my laptop but keep getting this message: "FaceTime can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because the version of OS X is too new." Is there anything I can do or do I have to wait until Apple updates FaceTime? Help.

FaceTime is bundled with Mac OS X 10.7 or newer and is normally in the Applications folder; if it somehow isn’t present on a system running Lion or newer, restore it from a backup or reinstall the OS.
The Mac App Store version of it is only for Snow Leopard.
