I have horizontal lines appearing across the bottom of my macbook air. my macbook is 2 years old. is there a way to fix it

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Try and Reset your computers SMC

Try a NVRAM reset:

If no success, then you best option is an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.
