I have El Capitan and iTunes 12.4.3.1. Do I need to download QuickTime 7 or QuickTime 10 to play an audio CD?

iMac Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.6.4), Proc 2.4 GHz Bus 800 MHz

Both should work just fine for an audio file, but I recommend

Quicktime 10

Thank you Michael. I don't quite get what the situation is. Is it that v 10 is for Windows and v 7 is the Apple Mac OS? (I did find that my v 7 works perfectly well on my iMac.)
