Aug 24, 2016 11:28 PM in response to Michael McCranieby TPfanne,The file was on my desktop. I see it indicated when I click on recent files under the Apple symbol (the name is "Emergenz.key"). But when I klick on it, nothing happens. Neither the finder nor keynote has it. Will it be risky to restart the computer ? That is the only thing I haven't tried yet.

Aug 25, 2016 12:00 AM in response to TPfanneby TPfanne,Two observations: I can see the name of the file "Emergenz.key" under the Apple symbol up right: It is shown as a "document" under the heading "used objects". But a click on it produces no result and the finder does't show the file nor does keynote (under recent). Clicking on "restart Finder," keeps the message "program doesn't react". So I can't restart the computer either.
