You simply setup the new TC and plug the old TC into it.. copy the existing sparsebundle from the old TC to the new one .. but we don't recommend you do this.


It is much much better to start a new TM backup on the new TC and retain the old one for a few months until you have a fair history and if you never need old files the chances you will diminishes greatly with time.
