Q: Issue with enhanced podcast image and sound

using iphone 6, all updates applied, podcast app.

when playing enhanced podcast the image FOLLOWS the chapter for which it was intended. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how to solve?

It's supposed to follow/change with the chapter.

Or did you mean it DOESN'T follow?

Sorry, I was unclear. I mean that it lags behind the chapter.

EG. Typical podcast has some "cover art". After the introduction, chapter one audio begins but the cover art does not change. when chapter 2 audio begins, the photo attached to chapter one now appears, ie, Follows behind the audio, it is not in sync with the audio.

Try deleting, then re-downloading the podcast episodes, but it could be an issue created by the podcast publisher. Are other users voicing the same complaints on the podcast iTunes review pages, or website?

I now suspect it is the podcast producer. I have downloaded another enhanced podcast on both iOS and windows and the other enhanced podcast works in sync, so there must be something with whatever software he is using to generate the podcast in question. Thanks.

PS? any suggestion for software to create an enhanced podcast?

I'm not a producer, but Apple's GarageBand supports Podcast production. Otherwise, contact the publisher of the podcasts you like and ask what they're using. Most of them have blogs related to their podcasts.
