Q: iPhone 5s problems

I have an iPhone 5s. when recieving calls on my phone I cannot hear the caller and vice versa! The same happens when making calls! I've sent my phone to the technicians at apple South Africa as well but they can't assist me either. We have even reset my phone to factory settings. Can someone please help me?!

THanks - but the weird thing is I can receive calls on whatsapp and can hear the person. It is only with normal calls I am experiencing the problem! It is so bizarre! So frustrating!
