Q: How do I change the clap trap at different point in a song with the same tempo?

So I want to have a clap track that matches the beats of the song tempo then goes to two claps every second beat of the metronome then back to one then as an example to once every half beat? It seems like the clap percussion tool doesn't have a lot of options for changing the clapping.  Am I missing something?

A Click Track is just used as a rhythmical guide. If you like to have clapping in your song, then record a Track with clapping, Software Instrument or live.

 

In GarageBand, you can't change the sound of the click (Metronome).

    Are you talking about a Track with claps used as percussion or do you refer to a "Click Track" (using a clap as the sound of the click)?

    Changing the Time Signature during a song is not possible in GarageBand (i.e. changing from 4/4 to 2/4).

    Either - am looking for creative ways in which I can have clapping that through my song would change speed (start every beat, then every half beat, then back).  Click Track looks interesting but can't find a tutorial on how to set that to a clap.
