Aug 25, 2016 11:59 AM in response to dennysvelby Jonathan UK,If you have not yet done so, it may help to back up your iPhone (you may wish to encrypt the backup, if using iTunes), restore it to factory settings (with a fresh copy of iOS) and test whether the issue persists before restoring from backup:
- How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
- Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
- Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
The steps here may also help:
If the issue persists, I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation with a view to having your iPhone checked and, if recommended by Apple, serviced (whether under warranty or via chargeable repair service):
- Contact - Official Apple Support
- https://twitter.com/applesupport
I'm afraid that no-one here can you what Apple will decide. You are not talking to Apple here - this is a user-based community.

Aug 25, 2016 1:47 PM in response to dennysvelby sweetmelinda,I also have this issue. Is apple doing anything about it? Seems to be a problem for a lot of people!

Aug 25, 2016 1:59 PM in response to dennysvelby EVSW,Yep, I have this problem too.
The the only thing you can do for now is get a replacement from Apple (at cost if out of warranty) or go to a reputable repair shop to get the screen's chip replaced - probably expensive.
I'm waiting, hoping that Apple will step-up and officially acknowledge the problem and perhaps do something about it. If they don't then I not be able to fully trust Apple products again.

Aug 25, 2016 6:03 PM in response to dennysvelby mendonipadrehab,Still nothing but the sound of crickets from Apple, as has been the case since this problem really ramped up as 6+'s came off warranty and reached their 1 year birthday. Your only option at Apple is $329 out of warranty swap. If you want the phone fixed your only option is to forego Apple's "support" and find an experienced microsolderer to change your touch chips and strengthen your board.

Aug 26, 2016 2:21 AM in response to dennysvelby reza1470,it's look like digitizer is not responding properly. if your phone is under warranty book an appointment any go to apple store to change the screen. if it's not you need to pay for replacing the screen.

Aug 26, 2016 5:34 PM in response to dennysvelby sutrotower,I have this problem too on an iPhone 6plus my son uses. Took it to the genius bar and they basically said there is nothing they can do about it. Very disappointed in Apple not standing behind a problem that is a manufacturing defect! WE have 2 iPhone 6's, 1 iPhone 6 plus and 2 iPhone 6s plus in our family. I have iPhone 4's and 5's that still work and in fact we are using the iPhone 5 right now as the 6 plus is not working. I have been a user of Apple products since 1992 and am an avid fan. The son that was told by the genius bar employee that there is nothing they can do is making him want to try Samsung! This is a huge problem that Apple needs to address.

Aug 26, 2016 5:36 PM in response to dennysvelby Blakeneys,I too am also experiencing this Issue. I tried to make sure it was not a software bug so I decided to default my phone and update to the latest and greatest iOS. Not recovering from a back up even! The issues just randomly started and have only gotten worse. I actually have an appointment scheduled for this coming week as my local store is booked for days... I am pretty upset about this issue. My phone has always been in an OtterBox Defender case and has never been dropped. I also first thought it was the case so I took it off with no help. I almost decided to have the touch censor and screen replaced. Luckily I decided to wait. Now that the media has gotten a hold of this hopefully Apple will make this right for all us customers who have faulty workmanship and a horrible design flaw. Especially since the new phone is due to debut any day now... If they want me to ever think about replacing my phone or any other apple/mac product again they need to do something.

Aug 26, 2016 9:41 PM in response to sutrotowerby EVSW,I am confident that Apple will eventually deal with this - simply because it will affect customer confidence in the iPhone, including the next release.

Aug 26, 2016 10:01 PM in response to EVSWby sutrotower,It will affect customer confidence. I've been an apple fan because they were superior products and I didn't mind paying a premium because I felt it was worth it. If they don't address this and take care of this like xbox did for the red ring syndrome, it will affect my confidence in their products. I was not happy with the treatment at the genius bar over this situation. They agreed it was a manufacturing defect, but because we were out of warranty there was nothing they were willing to do except charge us the $300+ to exchange the phone. I've had other genius bar appointments for my computers, about 1 appointment per computer during the 3 year warranty for the past 9 years. They've always left me feeling like I was taken care of. Not this time. They totally missed the customer service experience that Apple should have provided in this situation.
