Aug 25, 2016 2:08 PM in response to ChefAsh22by elcpu,If your device will not charge try the steps in this Apple article:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201569
Also try downloading the app Battery Life which is available for free from the App Store. Test the battery with it and if defective, schedule an appointment at an Apple store for possible replacement.

Aug 25, 2016 2:15 PM in response to elcpuby ChefAsh22,My phone charges, the lightning bolt indicator shows, the light turns green.
I only use apple certified cables.
I downloaded battery life, it shows that I have average battery life.

Sep 5, 2016 4:28 PM in response to Drobinzby ChefAsh22,No, I left the phone charging the next night and when I got up it was signaling the battery was dead (even though it was charging.) I thought my phone that was just under two years was dead...
I ended up going all day Saturday at my nephews birthday with no phone as the 6 would no longer charge or wake up. Once my BF got home from work we went to the Apple Store and I upgraded to a 6Plus.
Got home and just for S' and G's I tried the 6 and t turned on... With a full battery. Left it overnight and it slowly drained. I have my son using it now in place of his old 5s and for the first few days the battery was weird but now it seems to be draining normally.
SO what I suggest is to leave the phone unplugged and off for at least 12 hours and then try it again. It may work. So far were going on two weeks and knock on wood it seems okay.
