Q: The firmware update failed and now my airport will not turn on

The firmware update failed, now my machine will not power on. How do I fix it?

    If "will not turn on" means that the AirPort router will not power up, about all that you can do is check to make sure that the power cord is working and the AC socket is working.

     

    If the AirPort is less than a year old, Apple will replace it for you. Or, if you have AppleCare in effect on a Mac and the AirPort is less than three years old, the AirPort will be covered as well.

     

    If "will not power on" means something else, then we need more details.
