MAJOR Complications With IOS 9.3.4
Hi all,
After remaining on a version of IOS 8 for quite a while, I finally made the jump to IOS 9.3.4. This may have proven to be a huge mistake, as now it seems everything on my phone that I use has stopped working, save for texts and maybe calls. For reference, I have an 128 GB iPhone 6. My phone has been updated for MAYBE an hour, and I've already run into the following complications...
1. Everything takes a long time to load. Load times have been ranging from 15-45 seconds, though sometimes things won't load at all.
2. Music is essentially frozen. When I open the app from a restarted state (my phone, not the app), everything will work fine. As soon as I play a song however, the whole app will freeze, though the song will still play. No matter what I click it doesn't work, and even exiting the app will take a solid 15 seconds to load. Entering the app after exiting it will result in me viewing my music list, but still completely frozen. I have to restart my phone again to get it to work at all, but that just repeats the above process.
3. The podcast app will not load at all. When the phone goes on sleep mode from waiting too long, opening it back up will result in me seeing a frozen view of my wallpaper.
4. New tabs in Safari do not work at all. This means I essentially can't use Safari anymore because, since when I open the app it takes mer to a fresh tab.
5. The alarm function in my clocks app does not work. All my alarms have vanished, and when I try to save a new one, it will not appear in my alarm list. As well, after trying to add a new world clock as a test, it froze all the other functions of the app.
6. Battery percentage does the same thing as my alarm list. Turning it on will not result in the percentage appearing, and as soon as I go back to the battery page, it shows as turned off again.
I understand that glitches come with new updates, but my phone is basically unusable now. I've spent like a thousand dollars on this thing, and a simple "security update" has made it a shiny piece of metal.
Does anyone know how I can get my phone back? Anyone else been having these problems? Anyone have similar problems with Android, because they're starting to look like a nice option.
