Q: Spinning when selecting any service on OS X Server El Capitan

Im getting a spinning wheel when I select any of the services in El Capitan Server. It will eventually load after 5 min or so, sometimes. Im not using it for much, just File Sharing and Time Machine for about 5 local clients. My client Backups take a few hours to finish as well. Not sure if that is related.

    Hi Justin,

    Try a Reset on the Server app.

    - Check that there is a current Time Machine backup of the Server.

    - On Applications/Server :   Right Click -> Move to Trash

    - Wait until a "Server app removal detected." window appears and click the "OK" button to remove the window, 

    - Open Trash.  Right click on Server -> Put Back

    - Open Applications/Server and wait until reset/setup completes. 

     

    Data is retained during this reset.
