Hi

Before buying a cable, I would like to know if it's possible to use my IMAC 2007 as a second monitor with my Mac book pro 2015.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), model No A1225

Only with a product such as ScreenRecycler. That iMac doesn’t support Target Display mode.

but ScreenRecycler is not working with OSX 10.11.6 El Captain..

Use the built-in Screen Sharing function and VNC software.

I try to use screen sharing but how to use it as a second screen ?

Now I just have a copy of one screen to the other one.
