Q: iTunes says my Apple ID password is wrong

I am trying to log into iTunes 12.4.2.4. When I try to log in to my account I enter my apple ID and then my password, then it says my password is incorrect. I have reset my password multiple times, restarted the program and my computer multiple times and it still is not accepting my password. My password works on the apple site and it works in the app store just not for iTunes.

OBS MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2008), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
