Safari asks me to use login password every few minutes. My administrative password is not accepted.

Is it rather asking for your Keychain password? That would be more likely, as it's trying to log into each website. Just guessing...

A death has left me with the administrative password but not the keychain password.... Should the use of the admin password not give me the right to set a new Keychain password? .. or, at least, overide it?
I'm not certain...
Try a search for "change" and "forgot keychain password" and see if anything useful shows up.
