Q: Itune ios update question and problem

Im currently downloading ios 9.3.4 update on my itune. Im using ios 7.0.6.

Heres some question.

1. I heard someone said, you need to upgrade ios 7 to ios 9 before i upgrade to ios 9.3.4. Is that true?? Or i can just upgrade straight from 7.0.6 to 9.3.4???  On the side note, my total download size on itune is now 1.8GB.

2. My ipad storage is 16GB, now left 2.7GB. I seems to have problem syncing and backup-ing my ipad.

-Whenever i sync my ipad, i can see the storage on my ipad slowly decrease in general > usage until it goes down to 0. Then a notify popup said "Your storage is full, please manage", so i cancel it. After several plug in and plug out my ipad, it went back to 2.7GB. Why syncing my ipad decrease my storage size??

-When i do a backup, the backup just stuck at "2 out of 4" Why??

Any advice is appreciated!!

    Hello SkyVongolaPrimo,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. I know how important resolving these issue are to you! If I understand correctly, you are unable to complete the sync of your iPad to iTunes on your Windows computer, as you run out of space during the sync and have to cancel it, and you also have some questions about updating. The good news is you can go from iOS 7 directly to iOS 9.3.5, the most current version of iOS 9. Also, you may need to reduce the size of the content you're syncing from iTunes to your iPad to resolve your syncing issues. These articles explain how to do that:

Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB
If you need more space for an iOS update

    Cheers!

Hi, thanks for the information! I just upgraded my ios to 9.3.5

Im so nervous during the update afraid my items/datas/photos will disappear.

But im so glad, all the datas remain the same, nothing went missing!

Beside, the system looks great, i have been using ios7 for years, so it feels so freshing to use ios9.3.5!

Still need to learn more about ios 9.3.5

Wonderful, good to hear you updated to iOS 9.3.5 successfully! Luckily, I have a really good user guide that may help getting used to iOS 9 on your iPad and all the new features, and I personally use this guide all the time:
