My iTunes wont recognize my ipod when I connect to my computer, I have done all the recommended instructions from Apple helpdesk and nothing helps.

Hi, thanks for your reply, yes I have tried all of these before I posted to this site. Still no joy :-(
I've tried all those also. None of them worked. I've also been on other Apple related forums with no luck. I really wanted to move up the a Nano, but after more than 10 hours of fiddling, uninstalling, reinstalling, resetting, restarting, deleting, chats, phone calls, and more checking and unchecking of boxes than I can count, I give up. If anyone has any more ideas, I'd be glad to hear them.
WWhat I failed to mention is that it was worked Ng perfectly until I upgraded to the new version. Now I can't get any support from Apple.😠
I just got mine on the 25th. Straight out of the packaging, I've never managed to get it to sync with iTunes. I've spent hours trying every suggestion I could find, plus talking to Apple support. My Shuffle works fine. The Nano is a dud.
