Aug 26, 2016 1:14 AM in response to J44shovaby lllaass,Your initial post was at 3:34 and you complained 3 minutes later.
Yes, it typically takes longer than 3 minites to get a reply.
Apple does not respond to these forums. We here are all just users like yourself and at the time your posted not many users are active.
Now to your question. Not all Mac laptops have lighted keyboards. If you model (you did not specify which model you had) has that feature there is a setting in keyboard preferences. See:

Aug 26, 2016 2:07 AM in response to J44shovaby K Shaffer,Usually, a carefully worded inquiry, placed in the correct hardware
discussions area, and with more product information, can yield
more exacting replies at some point within a few hours or up to a
few days. Your Portable computer is not a Mac Pro (tower) so the
question, once worded better for clarity & with issues detailed,
could have been written in ASC topic area here: • MacBook Pro
{Since we're mostly volunteer fellow Apple product users who are
not compensated for our time, bandwidth, or other living costs;
consider this as a peer-to-peer discussions area. And the luck of
the draw, may be someone awake on your side of the world may
be able to offer a credible solution (or links to support site) that
works if you implement them. Or someone half a world away who
may not even be awake to answer your call for help. Or ignore it.}
A reset of the SMC can affect the backlight control and other power
features in an Intel-based Mac. You could try detailed instruction for
your build model portable computer (or, even a desktop Mac Pro) to
see if that helps. If reset fails, sometimes it may need to be tried 2x.
• Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
If resets do not help make the keyboard backlight work, you may need
to see an Authorized Apple Service Provider; or if there is an Apple store
with Genius, set an appointment to help determine & resolve this issue.
In any event...
Good luck & happy computing!
