Viruses for iPhone do not exist. There is nothing to worry about. The only thing you may worry about it is asking you for apple id info or personal information.
This update to iOS 9.3.5 was because there was an attack to apple, you can see here http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-37185544
If you updated to 9.3.5 then there is no need to worry about the security vulnerabilities spoken about in that article.

If you have installed 9.3.5 the vulnerability has been patched so no further risk. However, in your case if you clicked on the link and provided any personal info, you could have been phished. Please check out the following articles:
