Bluetooth not identified in Hardware

Last evening my bluetooth keyboard and mouse were connected without a problem. This morning, though, at startup my Macbook Air (2.2 GHz Intel Core i7), according to Overview, System Report, Hardware had no Bluetooth hardware! Of course, after a restart the bluetooth hardware was and still is recognized. Any suggestion of what this might be, beyond a simple hiccup?
