Q: Family Sharing Purchase

I've instigated Family Sharing among my family. I'm the manager of the account.

One of the family members logged onto his iTunes and purchased iTunes Match ($25) under his apple ID. The charge was put on MY credit card, despite his ID Profile having a credit card set up.

Is this normal?

Is there any way to specify which credit card a family member's charges are charged to?

If I turn off Family Sharing, will he lose his iTunes Match connection and all his songs?

I believe that is normal. Unless a person has an actual positive balance in their account, say from a gift card, any charges are made to the main person's credit card.  I can see this making sense so you really are restricting family sharing to members of a group who are close enough to trust each other and you don't end up with it being a college dorm.

I don't know if this can be used in your case:

Request and make purchases with Ask to Buy - Apple Support - https://support.apple.com/HT201089 - Ask To Buy can only be turned on for members up to 18.
