iPhone 6 (iOS 9.3.5) not pairing with BMW

I recently updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 9.3.5 and my phone will no longer pair to my 2011 BMW 328i.

I have tried performing everything from network reset, turning off wifi, connecting my iPhone to the vehicle with an Apple cable while attempting to pair...heck, I've even gone so far as a complete factory reset. Yes, that was painful. Still, no pairing. I regret having updated to 9.3.5.

Naturally, I'd love to think that there is some small feature I failed to turn on or off that might cause the phone not to pair, but it won't. I know that my vehicle is fine. In fact, I recently tried to get my phone to pair in parking lot and my car recognized two other Bluetooth enabled vehicles around me.

Thanks!

same thing is happening with me, in my Ford Fusion and it just started happening since i updated to to 9.3.5 on my iPhone6. i've tried everything except a reset, as i'd really like to figure this out before it comes to that. phone says i'm connected, but i'm obviously not. like darren, i regret updating, but i thought it was a mandatory upgrade.

please help!! i really want to be able to listen to podcasts while i drive. i have a long commute to and from work and listening to these helps past the time (and cut down on road rage!) :-)

thanks,

amy
