Q: iMessage from my mam but she didn't type it or anything! I need help ASAP.
I recevied an iMessage from my mam, who has an iPhone 4 (latest update as of 26/08/16), saying "Can't talk right now...what's up?" and she claims that she didn't send the message to me and that her phone was off when this message was sent. She is even spooked out herself. Out of pure cautiosness, I blocked my mam's number but the iMessage was sent via her email. Has someone hacked her email account? I need answers ASAP and I am scared that her personal information has been seen without her consent.

Hi JessicaChitas,
I can totally understand your concern with getting a message that the sender says they did not send. What you should have your mam do first is change the Apple ID password ASAP. You can then follow the steps in this link. If you think your Apple ID has been compromised
Following the steps in that link should allow you all to safe guard your Apple ID account. Thanks for using Apple Support Communities to post your question. Have a great day.
