Q: Recording with Quicktime

After recording an audio file, using Logitech USB, the file has a short (perhaps two seconds) fade in?  I would like to remove the fade, but don't know how or, for that matter, why it has a fade in?

Would appreciate any assistance or advice!

The fade in might be a preference for whatever software you're using to play the recording in. Are you using iTunes, QT, or something else entirely?

Please also test it after importing/copying it to your computer. The delay might be caused by latency in the USB drive.

Thanks, Rysz, for the quick reply.  I'm getting identical results when recording using Quicktime, as well as Audacity.  There is a gradual four second fade in of the audio.  I'm using Logitech USB Headset H540 as input.

On the latency issue, I did test it after exporting as a WAV file to my desktop; also, after importing into the VSE I'm using.  Both had the four second fade-in...frustrating!
