Q: why wont my phone let me remove a creditcard

I JUST bought an itunes card because my creditcaard is nolonger active... but my phone wont let me remove the credit card info! I cant download or update ANYTHING!!! I really would like to actually USE the money i added... help anyone??

Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support
