Q: Apple Music

Hiya,

I have recently set up an Apple Music account on my iPhone 6.

I have just purchased a MacBook and would like to have seperate iCloud/Apple ID accounts on the devices.

Is there any possible way to use my Apple Music account on both devices without having the same iCloud?

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!

Many thanks,

Hannah

I believe that the only ways to do that would be to change your Apple Music membership to a Family Membership or possibly to sign in to iTunes using the same Apple ID on both but use a different Apple ID on one for iCloud -- I haven't tried that for Apple Music.

Also, not really any of my business and feel free to ignore, but are you sure that you want to use a different Apple ID on your devices? The usual recommendation is for one Apple ID per person and iCloud and other features are designed with that in mind. Not using the same ID will make it impossible to use many of the features if you decide that you want to.
