Q: I bought an iPod touch secondhand and it's still on activation lock. I have no way of knowing or finding the previous owner; what do I do??

Like my question says, I don't know the previous owner so how do I go about setting up the iPod touch without the previous owner removing it from "find my iPhone"?

    Use it as a paperweight, or if you bought it through a place such as eBay, ask the people running the site or store for a refund. If you can’t contact the previous owner and the Apple ID it’s locked to isn’t yours, you won’t be able to activate it; the activation lock is an anti-theft measure.
