Reverting is non-destructive. I would still do a back up prior to the revert command.
Open Terminal and use the value under the +-> Logical Volume for Disk: which is the 8th line from the bottom (disk1). Type the following command.
diskutil cs revert disk1
After the revert has completed, you should be able to merge the free space below Macintosh HD back into your Macintosh HD partition via Disk Utility.
