When I try do a install of mountain lion it gives me an error

Hi,

Today I purchased a 2006 iMac, I came with a blank HD, when I boot I up it prompts me to re-install Mountain Lion.

Anyway, I follow the steps agree to the terms, etc. And then when I get to the screen telling you to select the drive to install Mac OS X on I select the drive then it tells you to sign into your Apple ID I do that, then I comes up with: This item is temporary unavailable please try agan late. And won't let me go any futher.

Is it that Apple doesn't host mountain lion on their servers anymore or is it the computer?

Your Apple ID never purchased Mountain Lion so you can't install it.

You can buy a Snow Leopard DVD from Apple and buy a remotion code for Lion to use in the App Store.

Mountain Lion can't be installed on a 2006 iMac. You can find out what year the iMac using the link below.

When I boot up the Mac it gives me four options:

1. Restore from time machine backup

2. Reinstall Mac OS X setup and install a new copy of lion

3. Get help online

4. Disk utility

So I don't really know what to do.

Don't worry about it, I have got it working and installed Mac OS X Lion.
