Q: Lyrics on lossless files
I love my iPod Classic 160 Gb - but now there is something I'd like to ask. Because of the sound quality I use LOSSLESS files only but I would still like to be able to see the lyrics (on the iPod). Currently I am using AIFF files - they seem to work well... I am able to embed / add lyrics... BUT when I listen to the songs on my iPod and would like to read the lyrics at the same time, this is what appears on the screen:
"Lyrics detected but unable to retrieve."
As if it wasn't complicated enough there is always an exception to the rule: I have hundreds of lossless AIFF files with the same problem ("Lyrics detected but unable to retrieve.") but one song that is exactly the same type of AIFF file as all other ones but strangely enough - no problems with retrieving the lyrics of that very song. I have been trying to figure out why that is... and I just cannot figure out why. I would like to know (what I am doing wrong) so that I would be able to see the lyrics of other songs as well.
Or - would you recommend to use a different (lossless) file format, if you would - which type of (lossless) files should I then use?
