Sony GDM 1950 monitor and G4 Quicksilver 2002

Hi!

Got a Sony GDM 1950 monitor (supermac) with BNC connectors. As far as i know, this monitor is not multisync. I am trying to used it on a G4 Quicksilver 2002 (ATI Radeon 7500- VGA and ADC).

Got 3 differents cables: 1x 3BNC to HD 15, 1x 4BNC to HD 15 and i bought another one, thinking that was going to fix my problem: 5BNC to VGA.

So far, i've got "something" (very dark image, somehow distorted) when i connect this monitor to my Ibook G4, 1024 x 768 @ 75mhz. Even if my G4 video card have more options, i can not get it right.

Is there any way to fix it, suggestions?

Thanks a lot

Got it!

I used my Ibook G4 and connect the GMD 1950 as a second monitor (mirror). I found a shareware named SwitchResX and was able to customize resolution, refresh rates and polarity. When i was using my G4 Quicksilver, i had to set some settings, shut down, plug the GDM and cross my fingers..... and reboot.....was painful and didn't work.

Now, got to make it working on my Quicksilver, which i believe is something possible now. Just ordered a ADC to VGA adaptor to use both of my graphic card output (ATI Radeon 7500).

I've got 1024 x 768 and hope i can get a better resolution (1280 x 1024) later on.

Thanks for your help anyway!
