Q: Inconsistent bluetooth connectivity with keyboard and mouse with mac mini

Hi there!

Until recently, I haven't had problems with bluetooth connectivity, but all of a sudden I'm having trouble with both the wireless keyboard and mouse with mac mini (late 2012 model).  The mouse keeps losing connection and after clicking a bunch of times it will reconnect.  My newer wireless keyboard won't connect at all and my older one connects, but there is often a lag between what I type and what shows up on the screen.  I'm not talking about a little lag, but one that makes typing anything nearly impossible.

Any suggestions on fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.
