Q: Quick question about iMac G3 (Final attempt to fix it)

I wanted to try something.

If an iMac G3 I got came with Mac OS 9.2, would it most likely be 9.2.1 or 9.2.2?

If you think you know tell me please. I'm going to try to get an external boot disk to get my iMac to work.

Can anyone link me to a listing to the correct version? (if it's online)

If I can't do this I don't know how I'm gonna fix my iMac

iMac, Mac OS 9.2.x, G3 (Indigo) (Refurbished)

Select About This Computer from the Apple menu.  It should tell you the specific Mac OS version.

For an iMac G3 (PowerPC), an external startup drive needs to be FireWire (not USB).  It's USB ports are 1.1 (very slow) and cannot be used for startup.
