Q: Can't connect to internet
No matter what I do I can't connect to the internet. I can connect to wifi and l bars are green. Same with Ethernet but it just doesn't load web pages or anything.. I've tried turning wifi off. On. Deleting the wifi. Reinstalling osx.. renew dns lease or w.e. Change into guest user and see if that worked. Nothing works I really have no idea what to do and I dknt want to restore my computer. Restarted router and modem. It says my ISP failed. Maybe I turned something off?
Anyone help

If you think something is mis-configured, the way to walk away from the bad settings and establish new ones is to use:
system preferences > Network > Ethernet > (assist me) > (assistant) ...
... to set it up again from scratch. Take care to specify a new Location-file, and do not use "automatic". Give it meaningful mnemonic name that indicates what the settings are for, like "Home".
