Q: GMail in Safari stuck in HTML mode

I accidentally switched my iPhone to HTML mode while using GMail and now it won't get back to the regular view

 

Anyone knows how to do it?

The issue resolved itself after two days.  When I logged into gmail in the Safari browser, I got the prompt to use HTML or go to mobile site.... I jumped on it right away and it restored the normal view

 

So if that happens to someone else, maybe waiting a couple of days is all that can be done!

    Try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the app switcher window by double clicking the Home button and swiping up the Safari preview pane until it disappears from the screen. Then go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Then restart the device.

    Thank you!  However it did not work - still stuck in HTML....

     

    so frustrating!
