Q: Do I have to reconnect my Magic Mouse 2 every time I want to use it?

After I've turned my Magic Mouse off and turned it back on to use later, I've had to reconnect the Lightning cord to be able to use it again - it doesn't automatically re-connect like I've had with a previous wireless mouse.

Is this normal?

    Hello Charliemom15,

You don't really ever need to turn your new Magic Mouse 2 off.   For charging, put it on charge overnight when you can.   That charge will last you several weeks.   But I suspect you are trying to use it with an earlier OS.   MM2 is meant to be used with El Capitan 10.11 and upwards; it won't function fully with earlier OSs.   If I am right you will need to upgrade to 10.11.6 El Capitan.

Thanks for the reply. I am using that iOS, so I'll just try not turning it off and on.
