Aug 30, 2016 1:27 PM in response to golden2by SthrnDixieCowgirl,I went to restoretones.apple.com and it took me to a list of results in Google. In one of the results listed there it said to go to itunes.com/restore-tones. I copied the website and pasted it in a new tab. It redirected me to https://search.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZContentLink.woa/wa/link?path=restor e-tones
Then (if you are using Windows 7/8.1/10) you will get a message on the screen that says:
Do you want to allow this website to open a program on your computer
Then you have 2 options: Allow or Deny. Click on Allow to let iTunes open. After iTunes opens you will see a screen that says:
Restore Tones
To restore missing tones on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, visit itunes.com/restore-tones on that device.
Learn more about restoring tones at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT204076
At this point grab your iPhone (or whatever device they were on) open Safari and go to itunes.com/restore-tones and you should be able to get them back that way.
