What does My Music Subscription cover ?

I just Subscribed to My Music 3 months trial and opted for a regular package after trial period.

I downloaded some songs from iTunes Store and have been charged for the same.

So what does the Subscription cover ? Do i get charged for downloading ?

Apple Music allows you to download music within Apple Music for use when offline (as long as you continue to subscribe to Apple Music), but you can also continue to buy music from the iTunes Store (which it sounds like what you've done) so that you will continue to have the music if you cancel Apple Music.

There are some instructions on this page for how to add music from Apple Music on your Mac / iOS device (your tagline on your post, which comes from your profile, is misleading) : Add music from the Apple Music catalog to your library on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC - Apple Support

Using Apple Music in an iOS device's Music app : Use Apple Music in the Music app - Apple Support
