Amazon video app says my iPad is registered to someone else?

MY Amazon prime app for streaming displays my proper device name and login for Apple and Amazon, but name that appears with 'device is registered to:' is someone I don't know......guessing this is why it won't recognize my purchases? Can't view any of my Amazon purchases currently. Help if you can.

I Won the iPad as a door prize at a corporate event....I thought I was the only one to use the device, but...? I can't see how to see who device is registered to, much less edit it. Device as I see it is linked to my Apple ID, properly, but when loading the Amazon app, it sees the name of device correctly, but as registered to someone I don't know.....plus, it doesn't recognize my Amazon purchases.

Does Amazon have a scheme like the Apple ID, which remembers the devices used by each owner? You may have to ask the company that gave you the iPad to ask the prior user to cancel this. Or you may just be able to login to your Amazon account in a browser and identify the device as yours. In any case, it looks like a problem for you, Amazon, and possibly the previous owner. Not much anyone here can do.
