Q: The left audio from my MacBook Pro sounds low

I feeling a bit odd today. I used to listen songs regularly on my Mac. I plugged my Apple EarPods today and the Left Audio felt a bit low. I tried different Apps and it was the same. I checked for the balance in the Audio MIDI Setup and in Sound Settings. All were balanced! I then went over and plugged in my iPhone and the Audio came normal. So, the problem is isn't with the EarPods. How to troubleshoot this issue? Is it necessarily a hardware issue? or can be something else? How to confirm it?
