Q: I just added an iTunes gift card and my credit card is low. I'm trying to make a purchase, but it won't take from the gift card and it keeps trying to take from the credit card. What do I do?

I Just added an iTunes gift card and am trying to make a purchase. My current credit card on file is too low to make this purchase. How can I get the funds from the gift card to get used first?

* I have tried to remover the card, but don't know how to do that either in account/payment.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5

    Are you using Family Sharing?

     

    If not, its look like you have a problem in your iTunes account,

    by gift card you have the options to choose a redeem a code instead credit card,

    in your case i advise contact the iTunes Apple Care support.
