Logic pro 9 tracks
When playing or recording a track using Logic pro 9, the playhead does not follow along on the Arrange page. How do I reset this to how it was originally?
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
IS "catch" turned on?

Make sure the 'Catch' button is on (highlighted). Top left of the window.
Yes, catch is now turned on (It wasn't). The playhead still does not follow along. I brought up previous things I recorded and it doesn't follow those other now. Don't know what I pressed wrong.
Trying turning the link button (left of catch) too. We can't tell where the focus is when you hit play.
Lastly when hen you hit play does catch turn off or does it remain on?
I recorded a short thing, returned to the start and played it back. The playhead followed but behind it the arrange screen was solid black. tried to play previously recorded things and the playhead wasn't there, or if it was, it didn't follow
